Snowshoeing with Hannah

Jake and I decided to get out of the inversion back in January and go snowshoeing. It was our first attempt to take Hannah with us.

Hannah liked being outside and looking at all of her new surroundings, but....

She only lasted 10 minutes in her carrier before she wanted OUT!!

We decided to try again a few weeks later. This time we made sure Hannah had just taken a nap, had a full belly, and we chose a trail closer to home.

This look on her face says it all. I think we have sold her on it! Good thing, because eventually she would have had to learn to like it anyway.
I think we successfully wore her out.

We're definitely going to try this again!!!

Christmas

I know this post is WAY over due, but since this blog is a history of our family I decided I couldn't leave out Hannah's first Christmas.
We spent most of Christmas with Jake's family this year. It was so much fun especially now that there are quite a few grandkids. We had a Christmas Eve program and attempted the Nativity. It was impossible to get a picture with all of the kids holding still together, so these pictures were the best I could do:

Opening our Christmas pajamas
Christmas morning

Enjoying the wrapping more than the presents

Showing off in front of the tree
We took a trip to temple square.
Hannah was smart and slept the whole time staying nice and warm in her stroller.

Some of my good friends were in town for the holidays.
It was fun to spend time catching up.

Where did 6 months go?

I can't believe how fast this little baby has turned into...

.

this little lady!!!

Hannah turned 6 months last Friday.

Jake and I helped her celebrate her half year
with some Half Baked. Hannah celebrated with bananas!
(we look for any excuse we can find to have this yummy stuff)
